[Herald Muse = Image Reporter] Park Wi recalled the day he was first told he had total paralysis.
YouTuber Park Wi recently wrote, “Today marks exactly 12 years since I was diagnosed with total paralysis. When I think back to that day, it still feels unreal. In an instant, my entire body stopped moving, and I couldn’t even feel my mother’s hand on me as she prayed.”
He said he thought he had lost everything at first. But over time, he realized that even within a life of total paralysis, there were already so many things he could be grateful for.
He went on to share, “Ten years later, I met the person I wanted to spend my life with, and we married. I can only describe married life as a blessing.”
As the head of his household and husband to his beloved Ji-eun, he added that he dreams of the day he can stand on his own two feet, take his wife’s hand, and backpack across Europe together.
He asked fans to keep praying that he can make that dream come true, and he expressed deep gratitude to his wife, Song Ji-eun: “Today I want to sincerely thank Ji-eun, who has always stayed by my side and walked with me.”
In response, Song Ji-eun wrote, “Babe, I’m the one who’s more grateful. You are my pride, my rock, the keeper of my self-worth, and pure love. I’m so excited to see what stories we’ll create together. Let’s live boldly, our way. I love you!!”
Meanwhile, Park Wi married actress Song Ji-eun, formerly of the group Secret, in October 2024.

Today marks exactly 12 years since I was diagnosed with total paralysis. When I think back to that day, it still feels unreal. In a moment, my whole body stopped moving, and I couldn’t even feel my mother’s hand on me as she prayed.
I thought I had lost everything.
But from that day on, I slowly realized that even within a life of total paralysis, there were already so many things I was enjoying.
Ten years later, I met the person I wanted to spend my life with, and we got married.
I can only describe married life as a blessing.
As the head of my household and the husband of my beloved Ji-eun, I hope that one day I will be able to hold my wife’s hand on my own two feet and backpack across Europe.
Please pray that I can make that dream come true.
Today I want to sincerely thank Ji-eun, who has always stood by my side and walked with me.
