(The CEN News / Reporter Yang Hyung-joo) On the 12th, SBS’s Choegang Road – Food Spoiler takes viewers to Yokjido, where Choi Kang-rok, Kim Do-yoon, Defconn and chef Jung Ho-young visit a tuna farm.
This episode follows the four as they head to Yokjido to explore a tuna farm that’s uncommon in South Korea. Choi Kang-rok revealed he used to work for a tuna company, and his obvious passion for tuna shone through. He surprised everyone on site by sharing a string of fascinating tuna anecdotes.
Arriving at the sprawling tuna pens off the waters of Yokjido, Choi tried his hand at tuna fishing. He couldn’t hide his excitement when he came face-to-face with a massive tuna.
Later, Choi unveiled a fresh-tuna tasting menu of his own. As the chefs paired tuna sashimi with inventive ingredients, Defconn gushed that it felt like meeting his type while traveling. Jung Ho-young and Kim Do-yoon each presented their own takes on tuna, turning the segment into a high-stakes culinary face-off.
