[iNews24 reporter Ahn Young-rok] Cheongju City gave its social media promotion team a first look at the Miwon Byeolbit Natural Recreation Forest.
The city hosted a fam tour on the 12th so residents could get an up-close preview before the park opens in July.
Members of Cheongju’s social media promotion team toured the facilities that day and immediately started creating content.

Following on-site guidance, they began with the lodging buildings, then moved on to the newly built workation center and seminar rooms, inspecting the facilities closely.
With final touch-ups still underway across the site, participants kept pulling out phones and cameras to document the spaces from a guest’s perspective.
After the tour, the promotion team will share reviews, photos, and videos across their individual social channels.
Cheongju hopes these personal channels will help build buzz for the Miwon Byeolbit Natural Recreation Forest even before its official opening.
Following the fam tour, attendees also took part in training on gender equality and gender sensitivity tailored for social content creation. The session focused on digital expression and the need to raise awareness in online communication.
Lee Boseul, head of Cheongju’s Digital Communications Team, said, “The social media promotion team is one of the fastest ways to introduce Cheongju’s many charms to residents. I hope new facilities like the Miwon Byeolbit Natural Recreation Forest get traction through real user reviews and encourage more community participation.”
Cheongju’s social media promotion team is made up of 62 members: 22 content editors and 40 city promoters.
They promote city initiatives online through blogs, photos, and videos in various formats.
