Translation resultThe Chilseo Ecological Park Green Barley and Peony Festival — where rolling waves of green barley met bursts of bright peonies — once again proved itself as Haman County’s must-see spring event.
Haman County reported that the 4th Chilseo Ecological Park Green Barley and Peony Festival, held from the 8th to the 10th at the park, wrapped up successfully.
During the festival, visitors poured into the park to wander endless barley fields and admire thick clusters of peonies in full bloom. Families, photographers, and travelers filled the grounds, giving the event a joyful, springtime buzz.

One standout this year was the festival’s hit attraction — the “Flower Garden Sightseeing Train” — which welcomed roughly 60,000 riders over three days.
Traveling the roomy festival grounds by train let visitors comfortably soak in sweeping views of barley and peony gardens, a feature especially popular with families traveling with kids and older guests.
Scattered throughout the site, promotional and hands-on booths run by local tourism groups — including Haman County’s Tourism Dure and the Green Tour Council — drew crowds and curiosity.
Guests discovered Haman’s attractions and jumped into a variety of interactive experiences that highlighted the region’s charms.

Local produce stalls, food zones, cultural performances and photo spots also lined the festival area, encouraging visitors to linger longer and giving local businesses a welcome boost.
Haman County put visitor safety and traffic control front and center. Officials secured temporary parking near the venue, increased safety staff, and used drones for real-time traffic monitoring to guide cars and ease congestion. Despite large crowds, the festival ran smoothly with no major bottlenecks or safety incidents.
A county official said, “By prioritizing visitor convenience and safety in our preparations, many guests were able to enjoy the festival comfortably. We will keep developing the Chilseo Ecological Park Green Barley and Peony Festival into Haman’s signature spring tourism event.”
Attendance has climbed year after year — 60,000 visitors in 2024, 135,000 in 2025, and 141,000 this year.
