[Notepet] Taean County, in South Chungcheong Province, is inviting pet owners to join Taean Dangdang Healing Camp — a pet-friendly camping getaway aimed at South Korea’s 15 million pet parents — as part of the \”2026 Year to Visit Taean\” campaign.
On the 9th, Taean County said the program runs June 6–7 as a one-night, two-day camping tour. Participants will travel by chartered bus to Taean’s highlights, camp under the stars, grill at a barbecue, and enjoy an outdoor \”healing\” music concert with their pets.
Sign-ups are open through pet-travel platform Petsgo. The event is limited to 100 people on a first-come, first-served basis, including both bus tour attendees and those joining at the on-site meeting point.
Day one starts with a stroll through Farm Camille Herb Garden, then winds down at the campsite with a barbecue and an outdoor \”healing\” concert. On day two, participants visit Anmyeonam Temple — known for its tranquil, exotic atmosphere — before browsing fresh local produce at a Taean food market and heading home.
A county official said Taean plans to further develop its brand as a pet-friendly travel destination.
