[Buyeo] Buyeo County announced on the 27th that it will operate the ‘2026 Baekje Historical and Cultural Exploration Buyeo City Tour Bus’ on weekends from May 2 through Oct. 18.
This daytime city tour packs Baekje history, culture and scenic nature into one easy outing. A professional tour guide will accompany each trip to bring the stories to life. The service will not run during the hottest months of July and August.
This year, the Buyeo City Tour offers two routes under the slogan ‘Baekje stories told by professional tour guides — A Day in Buyeo,’ designed to match different visitor interests.
On Saturdays, the focus is history exploration; on Sundays, it’s a walking · healing route. The program is set up to appeal to first-time visitors, families, repeat travelers and older adults alike.
△The Saturday history route visits the Jeongnimsa Temple Site, the National Buyeo Museum, Gungnamji Pond and the Baekje Cultural Complex. Centered on Baekje’s key relics and cultural assets, it lets visitors dive into Buyeo’s historical significance and the richness of Baekje culture.
△The Sunday walking · healing route links Busosanseong Fortress and the Gwanbuk-ri ruins, the Gudeurae yellow-sail boat, Gungnamji Pond and Muryangsa Temple. The itinerary is paced for leisurely enjoyment of the Baekma River’s waterside scenery and Buyeo’s signature spots, and includes a one-way fare for the Gudeurae yellow-sail boat for a memorable experience.
Passengers can board the city tour bus at the Chungnam Comprehensive Tourist Information Center and at Lotte Resort Buyeo. Each tour runs as a full-day schedule that continues into the afternoon.
Reservations are made online through the Buyeo culture and tourism website. Visitors who didn’t book in advance can register in person at the Chungnam Tourist Information Center on the day of the tour.
