How to Navigate Dangjin’s Top Attractions with the New Tourist Taxi: A Complete Guide
Daniel Kim Views

Dangjin City is piloting a tourist-taxi service to make it easier for individual visitors to get around.
On March 30, the city announced it will operate the Dangjin City Tourist Taxi from April through October — seven months — to boost tourism during the 2025–2026 Visit Chungnam campaign.
The program is designed to help travelers who arrive by public transit see the area’s main attractions more comfortably.
Visitors can disembark at Hapdeok Station or the Dangjin Intercity Bus Terminal, then hop into a tourist taxi and follow a schedule that suits them to hit highlights like the Sapgyoho tourist area, Solmoe Holy Site, and Myeoncheon Eupseong.
The city will cover 50% of the fare. The cost per taxi is: 4 hours — ₩45,000 (≈ $33.75); 6 hours — ₩65,000 (≈ $48.75). Each additional hour costs ₩20,000 (≈ $15.00).
If three people share the ride, the four-hour fare works out to about ₩15,000 (≈ $11.25) per person.
Reservations can be made through the dedicated tourist-taxi app Roiku, the call center, or the Dangjin City Tourism Division. You must book at least three days before your planned trip.
A city official said, “We introduced the tourist taxi in response to growing demand for small-group and individual travel. We hope visitors will be able to explore Dangjin more comfortably.”
