[SPOTV News reporter Kim Geon-il] The Los Angeles Dodgers, seeking a third straight win, were held in check by the Milwaukee Brewers.
On May 23 (Korean time) at American Family Field in Wisconsin, in the 2026 Major League game against the Milwaukee Brewers, the Dodgers fell 5-1 to Milwaukee, taking their 20th loss of the season against 31 wins.
Starter Justin Robleski ran into trouble in the 1st inning, putting the Dodgers on the defensive early.
Milwaukee attacked immediately. Leadoff hitter Jackson Chourio and Bryce Turang recorded back-to-back hits, and William Contreras followed with a home run to make it 3-0.
It didn’t stop there. After 1 out, three consecutive hits loaded the bases, and Sal Frelick’s sacrifice fly scored third-base runner Bon.
Robleski then walked Joey Ortiz and faced another bases-loaded threat, but he stranded the damage by striking out Chourio to finally end a long 1st inning.
The Brewers added another run in the 2nd. After 1 out, Contreras reached, and with 2 outs and a runner on 1st, Bon delivered an RBI double.

The Dodgers didn’t score until the 7th. Teoscar Hernández reached on a 3rd-base error, and Dalton Rushing’s single put runners on 1st and 2nd. Pinch-hitter Miguel Rojas’ ground ball moved the runner to 3rd, and Ohtani’s fly ball brought him home.
That proved to be Los Angeles’ only run; they couldn’t solve Milwaukee’s bullpen in the 8th or 9th.
Batting 9th and starting at 2nd base, Hye-sung Kim finished 0-for-2 — grounding out to 2nd in his 1st plate appearance and striking out in his 2nd. He was replaced by Miguel Rojas in the 7th with no outs and runners on 1st and 2nd.
The Dodgers were shut down by Milwaukee starter Logan Henderson, who worked 5 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits and 3 walks while striking out 7.
