[SPOTV News=Gwangju, Gwak Hyemi] The semifinal between Daegu Namdo Elementary and Seoul Gadong Elementary in the 3rd Presidential Cup National Youth Baseball Tournament kicked off the morning of May 14 at Gwangju’s Mudeung Baseball Stadium.
In the top of the first inning, Daegu Namdo’s leadoff runner Kwon Do-yeop swiped second base.
The Korea Baseball Softball Association (KBSA), led by President Yang Hae-young, is hosting the 3rd Presidential Cup National Youth Baseball Tournament. The event opened May 5 at Mudeung Baseball Stadium and is co-organized with the Gwangju Metropolitan City Baseball & Softball Association.
The 11-day tournament runs through May 15 and brings together \”champion of champions\” teams from elementary schools and youth clubs nationwide—those who posted top results last season—to battle for the national youth baseball crown.
