No. 2 San Antonio Spurs and No. 7 Portland Trail Blazers will battle for a spot in the second round. The Los Angeles Lakers meet the Houston Rockets, and the Denver Nuggets face the Minnesota Timberwolves in first-round matchups.


In the Eastern Conference, No. 1 Detroit Pistons will face No. 8 Orlando in the first round. No. 2 Boston Celtics and No. 7 Philadelphia 76ers are poised for a tough second-round gauntlet. The Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Toronto Raptors and New York Knicks vs. Atlanta Hawks are also set as first-round matchups.
