By Sangpil Lee, Sports Today The KBO announced March 22 that it has partnered with sports eyewear specialist Korea OGK to release a sunglasses collaboration.
Korea OGK, founded 47 years ago, is a sports eyewear specialist that markets performance products under its WING label. The collaboration is built on WING’s KNOX sunglasses and features a detachable KBO logo charm on the temple to emphasize the league’s identity. The charm is removable and can be swapped for different looks.
The sunglasses can accommodate prescription clip-ons, making them suitable for customers who need vision correction. OGK says the frame geometry is tailored to typical Korean head shapes for improved comfort and stability. Wind-blocking blades along the temples reduce airflow, increasing protection for fans at the ballpark and for people engaged in outdoor sports and activities.
Available in navy and white, the sunglasses will debut on the crowdfunding platform Wadiz on March 23 with an approximately two-week campaign. After the campaign, WING will roll out sales through its official website and other retail channels.
