[Sports Today] Forty-eight golf courses across South Korea will remain open throughout the Lunar New Year holiday without any closures.
The Korea Golf Course Management Association, headed by Chairman Choi Dong-ho, conducted a survey on February 10th regarding the operational status of member golf courses nationwide during the upcoming three-day Lunar New Year holiday from February 16 to 18. The results revealed that 48 courses will remain open for all three days, including Lunar New Year’s Day on the 17th, while 51 courses will only close on the holiday itself.
Additionally, 18 courses will be closed for the entire three-day holiday period.
The association noted that many golf courses are currently closed for the winter season, and some have uncertain schedules due to potential snowfall during the holiday. They advised golfers to confirm their reservations in advance and mentioned that any updates will be posted in real-time on the association’s website.
