TODAY KOREA=Seung-ri Seo, Reporter | Hana Financial Group has launched an initiative to strengthen the independent living skills of people with visual impairments.
The group said on April 14 that employees organized a volunteer effort to produce tactile Braille learning aids for the visually impaired.
The effort is intended to help visually impaired individuals learn Braille in everyday settings in an accessible and engaging way, and to enhance their capacity for independent living. The finished materials will be donated to organizations that support people with disabilities and distributed to households with disabled family members.
A representative from Hana Financial’s ESG Planning Team said, “We will continue to provide practical support so that everyone can pursue their aspirations without being hindered by disability. We will also keep promoting a culture of giving and carry out sincere activities to build an inclusive society.”
