Ansan City said on April 3 that it held a training session on April 1 at Danwon Hall, Danwon District Office, for 80 staff members from providers participating in the Community Service Investment Program.
The newly introduced digital administrative management system digitizes the large volume of administrative documents that were previously handwritten and stored. The system significantly reduces providers’ administrative workload, establishes an electronic signature system for users to increase transparency in service delivery, and prevents fraudulent benefit claims at the source.
The session was led by Joo Seong-hee, team leader of the Gyeonggi Community Service Support Group, who delivered practical, hands-on instruction on the system’s structure and detailed usage, digital administrative processing procedures, and management strategies using electronic signatures. With full system use set to become mandatory in 2027, participants also held in-depth discussions about potential issues during this year’s pilot phase and how to address them.
Mayor Lee Min-geun said, \”Building a digital administrative system will streamline staff work and help deliver welfare services that earn greater public trust. We will continue to provide training and support that reflect voices from the field.\”
Meanwhile, Ansan operates various social-service voucher programs tailored to local needs, including \”Our Child Psychological Support.\” After the first recruitment round in the first half of the year, 1,490 people are currently using these services. The city plans a second regular recruitment round in June.
