[아이뉴스24 Reporter Kim Da-un] Broadcaster Park Na-rae, embroiled in a legal dispute with her former manager, is scheduled for her first police interrogation as a defendant on the 12th. There is considerable public interest in whether Park will make a statement at the scene.

JTBC reported on the 10th that Park Na-rae will appear at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul at approximately 2:30 PM on the 12th.
While Park has previously been questioned by police in December and last month as a complainant, this marks her first interrogation as a defendant.
According to Ilgan Sports, Park’s former manager, identified as Mr. A, also returned from the United States on the 9th and underwent a second round of questioning as a defendant.
Mr. A had departed for the U.S. on December 22 last year, citing health reasons.
Previously, on the 3rd of last month, Mr. A and Mr. B, Park’s former managers, filed for a provisional seizure of her real estate assets and announced their intention to seek damages.
They allege that Park engaged in various illegal activities, including aggravated assault, workplace harassment, sexual harassment, unauthorized prescriptions, and delays in personal expense reimbursements.
Additionally, they have filed criminal charges against Park at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul for aggravated assault, defamation through false statements, and violations of the Information and Communications Network Act. They have also accused her of embezzlement under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes for allegedly misusing company funds.
In response, Park’s legal team has countered by filing charges against Mr. A and Mr. B for attempted extortion and embezzlement in the course of their duties.
