The Public — Reporter Oh Hong-ji: The Jecheon City Council opened its 355th special session to review follow-up measures from the administrative audit and to consider several agenda items.
The council will meet from the 23rd through the 27th for five days to examine the city’s responses to findings and recommendations from the 2025 administrative audit and to consider and vote on 12 items, including proposed ordinances and other municipal matters.
During the session, standing committees will closely verify whether recommended follow-up actions have been implemented and will call for corrective plans where deficiencies remain.
Key agenda items include council members’ proposed ordinance amendments to establish youth voucher support and to strengthen the seniors’ association, along with measures submitted by the executive branch.
