Jeon Han-gil Demands ‘Yoon Again’ Declaration from Jang Dong-hyuk
“Representative Jang is already losing his principles and standards”
“Clarify within three days if Park Sung-hoon’s statement represents Jang Dong-hyuk’s official position”

Jeon Han-gil, a conservative YouTuber and former Korean history instructor, has launched a high-pressure campaign against People Power Party leader Jang Dong-hyuk, demanding a so-called ‘Yoon Again’ declaration. On February 8, Jeon reported on his YouTube channel ‘Jeon Han-gil News,’ “Recently, People Power Party spokesperson Park Sung-hoon stated, ‘The party leadership cannot align with forces supporting martial law, claiming election fraud, or the Yoon Again movement.'”
Jeon thencalled for Jang to quickly clarify his stance, demanding, “Answer within three days whether Park Sung-hoon’s statement represents your official position.”This move has drawn significant attention. Last August, Jeon publicly endorsed Jang at the People Power Party convention, showcasing his active political involvement. He explained his support for Jang, saying, “I backed Jang Dong-hyuk as party leader because of ‘Yoon Again,’ ‘expelling Yoon’s betrayers,’ and ‘eradicating election fraud.'”

Jeon warned, “If Representative Jang remains silent on my demands, I’ll interpret Park’s statement as his official position.” He added, “In that case, Jang will have betrayed both party members and President Yoon, bearing full responsibility for the consequences.” Jeon emphasized, “The election loss was due to the betrayal by Kim Moon-soo, who opposed unification, Lee Jun-seok’s betrayal, and the betrayal of pro-Yoon forces.” He also criticized Jang, stating, “Representative Jang is already losing his principles and standards.” Jeon urged Jang to remember why party members and conservative YouTubers supported him during last year’s convention and to honor his promises to the party base. However, on February 9, the People Power Party leadership effectively refused to engage, responding, “We have no comment.”

On the same day, Deputy Director Jang Ye-chan appeared on BBS’s ‘Kim Tae-seop’s Morning Journal’ to address Jeon’s demands. He criticized Jeon’s approach, saying, “It’s inappropriate for external YouTubers to set deadlines for the party leader to respond,” adding, “Representative Jang doesn’t need to address every comment.” Jeon’s statements have evolved beyond personal opinion, symbolizing internal conflicts within the People Power Party and divisions in the conservative camp. Political observers are closely watching how Jeon’s public pressure, backed by his strong supporter base, will impact the political trajectory of both the People Power Party leadership and Jang Dong-hyuk. Notably, Jeon gained prominence among hardline supporters by speaking at rallies opposing former President Yoon Suk Yeol’s impeachment during that crisis.
