The Black Label released an album sampler for Taeyang’s fourth studio album, QUINTESSENCE, on its official social channels on May 16.
The roughly three-minute sampler includes the lead single “LIVE FAST DIE SLOW,” along with snippets from each of the album’s 10 tracks and visuals that bring the music to life.
Taeyang confirmed that his fourth studio album, QUINTESSENCE, and its title track will be released on May 18. The label has been rolling out a series of teasers to build anticipation. A music-video preview, in particular, highlights his signature performance and energy and hints at the full range of his artistry.
A behind-the-scenes documentary also spotlights his collaborations with multiple producers and artists, tracing the difficult decisions and creative struggles that shaped the new material.
QUINTESSENCE will be released at 6 p.m. on May 18.
