Sung Si-kyung and Raisa appear together in AtStyle’s June issue.

Their connection began at Sung Si-kyung’s year-end concert. Raisa said, “A close friend invited me to the show. I went to relax and enjoy it, and I never imagined we would end up making music together.”
Sung recalled, “After the concert, Raisa came by to take photos, and I learned she’s a hugely popular singer in Indonesia. We stayed connected on social media, and someone suggested that it would be fun for two singers to try a duet. That conversation turned into this collaboration.”
Their cover of “Endless Love” quickly passed 2 million views on Instagram and 1 million on YouTube. When the original artist, Lionel Richie, left a shout-out comment, Sung said, “He’s one of the people behind ‘We Are the World.’ Just knowing he listened was moving, and getting a comment from him made us even more excited and honored.” Raisa added, “What stands out most is how many people said our voices fit well together.”

With a new duet slated for release in June, the pair are preparing to record. Sung said, “This was a song I originally planned to release in winter, but when I played it for Raisa she liked it — there was no reason not to collaborate.” Raisa added, “To me, the song carries a distinctly Korean sensibility, which made it feel fresh and especially appealing.”
