BTS has extended the run of its blockbuster album “ARIRANG,” holding top positions on major global music charts for six straight weeks.
BigHit Music said on May 2 that the group’s fifth full-length album, “ARIRANG,” and its tracks continued to notch major global milestones in their sixth week of release.

Spotify remains the primary driver of the album’s momentum. On the April 24–30 weekly charts, “ARIRANG” held the No. 2 spot on the “Weekly Top Albums Global” chart for a sixth straight week, while the title track “SWIM” rose to No. 2 on the “Weekly Top Songs Global” chart. All 14 album tracks charted simultaneously for six weeks, underscoring the record’s broad appeal. “SWIM” also spent 42 consecutive days in Spotify’s daily Top 3.

The group is also widening its reach across Europe and Oceania. On the UK Official Charts released May 2, “ARIRANG” placed No. 17 on the “Official Albums Top 100,” extending a six-week run. Physical formats remained particularly strong: “Official Physical Albums” jumped eight spots to No. 12, and “Official Vinyl Albums” re-entered at No. 18.
Elsewhere, the album reached No. 7 on Australia’s ARIA Top 50 Albums and No. 9 on France’s SNEP Top Albums chart. BTS picked up official certifications across Europe, including Gold in Italy and Spain and a Platinum certification in France after surpassing 100,000 album-equivalent sales.
In Japan, the group reclaimed No. 1 on Oricon’s Weekly Digital Album Ranking, and older track “Crystal Snow” climbed streaming charts again following BTS’ recent Tokyo Dome concerts.
The six-week global chart run highlights both BTS’ mainstream reach and the durability of its worldwide fandom. Steady streaming numbers and continuing demand for physical albums have reinforced the group’s standing as one of the dominant forces in the global music market.
Meanwhile, BTS is touring North America on the “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN NORTH AMERICA,” which kicked off in Tampa on April 25.
