[Sports Today reporter Lim Si-ryeong] Soran has returned with a new single.
The band Soran releases its new single “Delivery” on the 24th.
Built on the AOR sound of the 1970s and ’80s, “Delivery” blends city-pop textures with punchy horn arrangements to create an open, refreshing atmosphere. Multiple parts unfold over a taut, rhythmic groove, offering varied progressions and layered instrumentation while a buoyant momentum carries the track from start to finish.
The lyrics center on the arrival of a delivery and include the playful line “Let’s not go out—order delivery and eat inside,” a simple scene that quietly expresses the desire to spend time together. Starting from everyday moments, the words showcase Soran’s characteristic warmth and wit.
10CM’s Kwon Jung-yeol co-wrote the lyrics, adding the teasing, subtle line “If we can’t go home,” which deepens the song’s playful, nuanced tone.
The music video was directed by Shin-hyuk Lee, who previously ran the YouTube channel Tikitik. Using a time-loop conceit, vivid colors suited to city pop and a lighthearted storyboard, the video — which features a cameo by Lee — uses repeating scenarios that complement the song’s mood and leave a strong impression.
Soran continues a steady release schedule, arriving roughly two months after “Draw an Apple.” Critics note the band is broadening its signature sound by offering songs that capture different emotional tones. Band member Go Young-bae said the group worked hard so fans wouldn’t feel a void and that they are preparing to meet fans more consistently going forward.
Meanwhile, Soran’s new single “Delivery” will be available on all music platforms today (the 24th) at 6 p.m. The band will also connect with audiences through a series of live performances, including the Hero Rock Festival and Beautiful Mint Life.
