Taeyong and Anderson .Paak’s collaborative single “Rock Solid (Feat. Anderson .Paak)” will be released at 1 p.m. on the 17th across global streaming platforms, with the music video debuting simultaneously on SMTOWN’s YouTube channel.

Taeyong wrote and composed the song himself, using it to express his determination to protect what he has built and his steady confidence that he will continue to prove himself.
Ahead of his first release in two years and two months, Taeyong said he felt both excitement and nerves about sharing new music after such a long break. “I worked hard on this, and I hope many people enjoy it,” he said. “I also hope ‘Rock Solid’ fills everyday moments with positive energy.”
The pairing with Anderson .Paak has drawn considerable attention. Anderson .Paak reached a career high as part of Silk Sonic, the project he formed with Bruno Mars, taking home four Grammys in 2022 — including Song of the Year and Record of the Year for “Leave the Door Open.” He is also known for his affection for Korean culture.
Taeyong described the collaboration as a fresh and intriguing creative process. “This project showed me that music can be made in different ways,” he said. “It gave me a chance to grow as an artist and broaden my perspective.”
