[Sports Today reporter Jung Ye-won] He moves effortlessly between music and acting. Park Ji-hoon, now a bona fide box-office star, is set to return to the music scene with a new release.
Park Ji-hoon will release his first single album, RE:FLECT, on the 29th, aiming for a career high as a solo artist. Ahead of the release, he will hold fan meetings titled “Same Place” on the 25th and 26th to share moments with fans.
His agency recently released concept photos teasing the record. In the shots, Park sports orange-tinged hair and striking visuals, presenting a glossy idol image that contrasts sharply with the regal film persona many remember.
Park is riding a wave of momentum. He became a box-office draw with the film A Man Living with the King, and the industry has taken notice. The February release continues to lead the box office after two months in release and has amassed 16.12 million admissions — drawing close to Extreme Job’s 16.26 million, the second-highest total in Korean cinema history.

As the saying goes, strike while the iron is hot. Last month Park confirmed his solo comeback, signaling his intent to carry that momentum into his music career.
There’s more: the group WANNA ONE — which helped raise his profile — has also returned to the spotlight. WANNA ONE issued a “coming soon” message in February and made reunion plans concrete with an offline fan event in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 6th. Nine members, including Park, will reunite for the reality series WANNA ONE GO: Back to Base on the 28th.
Park’s acting slate remains full. He will next lead TVING’s The Cook Soldier Becomes a Legend as Kang Seong-jae, and he’s also confirmed for tvN’s boxing drama Promoter, lining up his next move.
Park Ji-hoon began his career as a child actor in 2006. Two decades of steady work and accumulated experience culminated in performances that have connected with over 16 million moviegoers. His rise was not overnight; it reflects deliberate career-building and has only increased anticipation for what comes next.
