[By Kim Tae-hyung, Sports Today] Singer-actress Nam Gyu-ri announced SeeYa’s full-group reunion after 15 years, sharing a wave of emotion and heartfelt gratitude for fans.
On March 29, Nam uploaded a video titled Ep.40 Still, We Are SeeYa | SeeYa Nam Gyu-ri, Kim Yeon-ji, Lee Bo-ram Vlog to her official YouTube channel, Nam Gyu-ri’s Gyulmeong.
In the episode, an excited Nam Gyu-ri revealed, “We’re releasing a SeeYa album for the first time in 15 years,” then headed to meet members Kim Yeon-ji and Lee Bo-ram. The trio enjoyed a relaxed meal together and celebrated the 20th anniversary of their debut, displaying close bonds and warm chemistry.
The most compelling moments were the members’ candid reflections on reuniting and their tender messages to fans. Nam explained that after much time and discussion the three aligned their intentions, formed a company called SeeYa Co., and took on executive roles — a clear sign of their commitment to the group’s future.
She grew emotional as she apologized to and thanked fans. Nam confessed that, regardless of the reason, those who waited for and loved them so deeply are owed more than she could ever repay in a lifetime. “Because of the fans’ love, we could exist and carry on,” she said. “We can’t repay everything at once, but we’ll keep showing our gratitude through our actions.”
The members then visited a subway billboard that fans had voluntarily arranged for their 20th anniversary. Scanning the board’s QR code, they read fans’ letters aloud, visibly moved — moments that resonated with viewers. Toward the end of the video, they also introduced the pre-release track Geureomedo Urin (English title: Still, We), scheduled for release at 6 p.m. KST on March 30.
Nam singled out lyrics such as “not a flower of the moment but a tree that endured the seasons” and “because I’m learning how to bloom late,” saying they encapsulated the group’s situation and moved her deeply. She called those lines the ones that made her cry most during recording, underscoring her special connection to the new song.
She promised fans that they would repay their patience with an emotionally resonant song and music that tells SeeYa’s story. “Like the lyric, ‘Still, we will sing to the end,’ we’ll keep our promise and show you more of our singing — please continue to support us,” she said.
Meanwhile, Nam continues to share varied, down-to-earth moments on her YouTube channel Gyulmeong and is ramping up activities as a singer.
SeeYa, including Nam Gyu-ri, will release the pre-release song Geureomedo Urin at 6 p.m. KST on March 30, with all members contributing to the lyrics, and will hold a fan meeting at Idles in Jongno-gu, Seoul to mark their vibrant return.
