[Sports Today reporter Jeong Ye-won] Band N.Flying is set to return to music show stages as their song “Flashback” experiences a late resurgence.
N.Flying will appear on KBS2’s Music Bank on April 3 to perform “Flashback,” a track from their 2021 full-length album Man on the Moon. The group was already listed on Music Bank’s “Next Week” lineup that aired on the 27th, stoking anticipation for the broadcast.
Written by Lee Seung-hyub and Yoo Hwe-seung, “Flashback” is a rock ballad that layers gentle string melodies with N.Flying’s distinctive tone to evoke a tender, lingering longing. Its lyrics — about yearning for something that won’t return — blend with the passage of time and shifting seasons to leave a lasting emotional impression.
That a 2021 album track is reclaiming attention nearly five years later gives this revival extra significance. It highlights N.Flying’s lasting artistic appeal and the steady affection listeners continue to show their work.
Live clips of “Flashback” have recently gone viral across various social media platforms, while major domestic streaming services — Melon, Genie, FLO and VIBE — have seen the track climb the charts again, extending the momentum of its comeback.
N.Flying previously achieved a viral resurgence in 2019 with “Oktapbang” (Rooftop Room), the second single title from the FLY HIGH PROJECT. With “Flashback,” the band has sparked another comeback, reaffirming their place as a leading act in the scene.
N.Flying recently wrapped their first domestic fan meeting in eight years — the 2026 N.Flying FAN MEETING “Woo.Sa.Hap: Let’s Talk About Our Little Stories” — and will continue meeting fans with events in Taipei on April 11–12.
