[Sports Today reporter Jeong Ye-won] Singer Kim Ji-soo is set to become a married man.
Kim is due to wed his partner on the 28th. The bride is reported to be a non-celebrity.
Last year, Kim announced the marriage on John Park’s YouTube channel. \”I’m going to marry the woman I love on March 28 next year,\” he said, adding that she has stood by him \”from my reckless, trashy‑musician days through to when I became a barbershop owner.\” He went on to say that without her, there wouldn’t even be a barbershop.
Actor Park Seo‑joon, a close friend, recently shared Kim’s wedding invitation. Alongside photos of the couple on the invite, Park wrote, \”I’m so happy for them.\”
Kim first rose to national attention as a contestant on Mnet’s 2010 audition program Superstar K2, where he finished fifth. He left a strong impression with his guitar work and youthful voice and continued to perform as a singer for many years after the show. He currently runs a barbershop in Mapo District, Seoul.
