[Sports Today reporter Lim Si-ryeong] IVE stoked excitement for their upcoming world tour with a stop on a major U.S. morning show.
On the 25th (local time), the group appeared on FOX11’s morning news and entertainment program Good Day LA in Los Angeles as part of promotions for their second world tour, SHOW WHAT I AM. It marked their first appearance on a local U.S. morning broadcast since debuting and underscored their growing international profile.
With new U.S. dates announced that day, the members said they were “very excited,” recalling fond memories from their previous world tour. Introducing the pre-release double title track from their second full-length album REVIVE+, “BANG BANG,” they described the song as a more energetic, refreshed side of IVE. They even taught the host their signature “shoulder dance,” keeping the segment lively and playful.
The group also talked about the work behind the tour. “We’re investing a lot of time and effort into preparations,” they said, expressing gratitude to the staff supporting them. Asked about how they maintain close teamwork, they explained that rehearsals bring them closer and that spending so much time together on and off stage has made them more comfortable with one another — a comment that drew warm reactions.
Conversation shifted to lighter topics as well. The members recommended favorite Korean restaurants in LA and highlighted bibimbap. They also shared a practical beauty tip: always pack sheet masks on long flights to keep skin hydrated.
Toward the end of the segment, IVE offered an encouraging message to girls around the world pursuing their dreams: “You absolutely deserve it, so keep dreaming.” The interview showcased the group’s approachable charm and helped build anticipation for their upcoming tour.
Earlier, Billboard premiered an exclusive announcement video and released the North American and Asian tour schedule, capturing global attention. In a Billboard interview, the group said they had worked hard to present IVE’s distinct style and artistic growth and hoped to reach more fans in person. They added that they have many live stages planned — including new songs from their second album and solo performances from members — and are eager to show different facets of their artistry.
IVE made their first U.S. solo appearances during their 2024 world tour, SHOW WHAT I HAVE, selling out major venues in Los Angeles and Newark despite it being their debut North American run. The success proved their global appeal and drew coverage from leading local outlets. Fans are now looking forward to the next chapter: new music and high-impact performances on a larger global stage.
IVE will kick off the North American leg of the tour on July 21 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, then continue to Montreal, Newark, Austin, Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle, Vancouver and other cities.
