ITZY’s Yuna Reveals Secrets Behind Solo Album ‘Ice Cream’: What Fans Didn’t Expect!

[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] ITZY member Yuna appeared on \”Wendy’s Youngstreet\” to share behind-the-scenes stories from her debut solo album, Ice Cream.

On the March 24 broadcast of SBS Power FM (107.7MHz), Yuna discussed the making of the album and reacted to the recent resurgence of \”THAT’S A NO NO,\” among other topics.

Yuna said she still hasn’t quite processed releasing her solo debut on the 23rd. \”It’s only my second day since debut, so it doesn’t feel real yet,\” she said. She added that she contributed many ideas throughout the album’s production. About the title track \”Ice Cream,\” Yuna said she pictured the stage the first time she heard it, which helped confirm it as the lead single. She also revealed that working on the album made her aware of her perfectionist tendencies.

Praising the group’s close teamwork, Yuna said the members sent a snack truck to the music video set, which gave her a big boost. Member Lia joined the show as a one-day manager and attracted attention by preparing homemade lunchboxes and desserts from the morning; Yuna thanked her for waiting outside the studio and for the thoughtful gesture.

On the recent social media buzz around \”THAT’S A NO NO,\” Yuna said she never imagined the song would resurface. \”I’m so happy and thrilled it entered the Top 100,\” she said, adding with a laugh that leader Yeji promised to buy beef if the song charted, so everyone is eagerly waiting.

Responding to a listener text that noted her resemblance to actress Park Shin-hye in the recently concluded drama Undercover Miss Hong, Yuna said she checked the monitor and was surprised by how similar they looked. She left a warm voice message thanking Park Shin-hye for her help during filming.

Yuna also shared an anecdote about fellow member Ryujin, who filmed a movie around the same time. \”Once, we were having drinks and talking about acting,\” Yuna said. \”When I mentioned a scene I couldn’t nail, Ryujin actually demonstrated it for me,\” a moment that highlighted the members’ strong camaraderie.
