[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] SBS LoveFM (103.5 MHz) is unveiling new, easy-listening music programming in its spring schedule while maintaining the strength of its news and economic shows.
According to SBS on the 25th, the station will add a new program this spring, \”A Night of Music with Park Eun-kyung.\” Park will host weekdays from 10:05 p.m. to midnight and weekends from 10 p.m. to midnight. The show is designed as a relaxed, late-night music program centered on songs and listener stories.
Park Eun-kyung has long connected with audiences through programs such as \”Park Eun-kyung’s Sweet Music Box\” and the weekend \”Park Eun-kyung’s LoveFM.\” The new show will feature real-time listener stories and an interactive segment that allows listeners to select the next song.
Weekdays from 4 to 5 p.m., the station will debut a new music program called \”Life Is an Audition.\” Sang-mi Lee, formerly of the band Eks—the group that took the grand prize at the college song festival often regarded as the original audition—will serve as DJ. The show will blend stories from listeners in their 40s to 60s who describe life as a series of auditions with adult-oriented music centered on trot, and it will offer a variety of listener events.
Weekend mornings will also be refreshed. \”Choi Young-joo’s LoveFM\” will air Saturdays and Sundays from 9:05 a.m. to 11 a.m., with announcer Choi Young-joo hosting music and weekend conversation. Then, each night from midnight to 2 a.m., the AI-driven BGM program \”Yesterday 20\” will be scheduled.
SBS LoveFM will continue to prioritize its current affairs programming. Last month the station appointed anchor Pyeon Sang-wook as the new host of \”Pyeon Sang-wook’s Direct News,\” a drive-time current affairs program that airs weekdays at 5 p.m. Through interviews and conversations, the show aims to unpack major issues clearly and concisely, delivering straightforward news commuters can follow easily.
With the reshuffle, the station will also conclude several long-running programs: \”Eo Yejin’s After-School Big Money Lab,\” \”Choi Baek-ho’s Romantic Era,\” and the late-night music show \”Late-Night Broadcast.\”
The refreshed SBS LoveFM spring lineup will launch April 1 on SBS LoveFM 103.5 MHz and via the SBS Gorilla app.
