[Variety – Los Angeles] Rising K-pop sensation NAZE has become the talk of Japanese media outlets.
The seven-member group, consisting of Kaisei, Yungi, Ato, Turn, Yuya, Kim Gun, and Dohyuk, recently engaged in a whirlwind of interviews and photoshoots with various Japanese web media and magazines, riding the wave of their appearance in the Friday drama “Dream Stage.”
NAZE’s media blitz included sit-downs with eight major Japanese web outlets, among them Rakuten Books’ Oshiraku, Oricon News, Seventeen, Oggi, Encounter, Topical, Korean TV Drama Guide, and Nikkei Entertainment! Web.
The group’s charm offensive extended to 11 local print magazines, including heavy-hitters like VIVI, SPAIA, S Kawaii! Mi, Awesome! Plus, Monthly TV Guide, Digital TV Guide, Model Press Countdown Magazine, Men’s Unit, Flix, Plus Act, and TV Life.
During these interviews, NAZE reflected on their meteoric rise to global recognition even before their official debut. They highlighted milestones such as their acting debut in “Dream Stage,” their OST “Wanderlust,” and their appearance at the prestigious Fashion Festa TGC. “It feels surreal to have these incredible opportunities before our official launch,” the group shared. “We’re honored and excited for fans to witness our growth journey.”
The septet, currently honing their skills in vocals, dance, acting, and Japanese language, spoke about their rigorous training regimen. “We draw strength from each other during challenging times,” they revealed. “Our focus is unwavering at every moment.” The members also shared anecdotes that showcased their tight-knit bond.
Looking to the future, NAZE set their sights on a world tour. “As a multinational group, our dream is for each of us to perform in our hometowns,” they expressed.
The magazines also unveiled a series of striking visuals featuring NAZE. Notably, the group graced the cover of Men’s Unit, demonstrating their collective charisma. S Kawaii! Mi and Topical magazines spotlighted individual members, allowing each to showcase their unique appeal.
Currently, NAZE is captivating audiences across borders through their appearance in the hit drama “Dream Stage,” which is airing on Japan’s TBS, Korea’s tvN, Japan’s cultural channel Channel J, and the streaming platform Tving.
