Musicians Molly Yam and DIMO REX are set to drop their debut collaborative EP ‘DIMOLLY’ on various digital platforms at 6 PM on February 10.
This EP marks the inception of ‘DIMOLLY’, a fusion of the two artists’ talents. They gave fans a sneak peek on February 6 through their official YouTube channel, releasing the track “The Reason for Loving Becomes Love”. This preview showcased Molly Yam’s cutting-edge style alongside DIMO REX’s robust production skills, igniting excitement among hip-hop enthusiasts even before the official release.
The title track, “You’ll Drive Me Crazy”, is an emotive alternative R&B piece that explores the desire to hold onto love in a rapidly deteriorating relationship. The unique vocal blend of both artists is sure to strike a chord with listeners.
The EP also features three other tracks: “It’s Going to Be Okay”, a high-octane rock star rage genre song; “The Reason for Loving Becomes Love”, an emo hip-hop track about imperfect emotions; and “So, Tonight”, a high-end flex track that challenges conventional norms. This diverse lineup demonstrates the duo’s wide-ranging musical prowess.
Molly Yam has recently proven her social media clout by amassing over 100 million views on TikTok with videos featuring her music. She sparked a viral trend known as the ‘Dujonku Challenge’, inspired by comments comparing her black lipstick look to someone who had just eaten a ‘Dubai Chewy Cookie’. This buzz has led to a flood of collaboration requests from hip-hop heavyweights, and she recently inked a deal with Bang Yedam’s agency.
DIMO REX is Bang Yedam’s musical alter ego, created to express his free-spirited and innovative musical vision. Following the release of his fourth digital single last month, which once again highlighted his unique style, he continues to expand his musical horizons through collaborations and by popularizing the inclusive ‘Banger’ culture in South Korea.
Both Molly Yam and DIMO REX have received multiple nominations for the upcoming ‘2026 Korean Hip-Hop Awards’ (KHA 2026) on February 11. They’re in the running for categories including ‘Rookie Artist of the Year’, ‘Hip-Hop Track of the Year’, ‘R&B Track of the Year’, and ‘Collaboration of the Year’.
