
Yoon Nam-no, the culinary prodigy from Netflix’s hit series ‘Black and White Chef 1’, is set to appear in MBC’s Lunar New Year special, a three-part series titled ‘Discovery of the Dining Table’.
This innovative program aims to uncover the passion and ingenuity behind everyday Korean meals. Top chefs from across the country will reimagine authentic ‘K-Food’ and explore the rich tapestry of Korean culinary culture found in daily dining, presenting these dishes with a contemporary twist. Viewers can also expect a feast for the eyes as the show spotlights traditional crafts integral to Korean food culture.
At the helm is Jang Geun-suk, a well-known foodie and self-proclaimed ‘home-cooked meal master’. He’ll be joined by an all-star culinary lineup including Yoon Nam-no, David Lee (dubbed the ‘Meat Tyrant’), and Chef Fabrice, known as the ‘Korean Cuisine Ambassador’. Each chef will bring their unique perspective to Korean cuisine. Adding to the mix are idol Tsuki, a Korean food enthusiast, and writer Kwak Jae-sik, who will share fascinating stories behind the meals. The show then moves to the serene outdoor kitchen of a traditional Korean house, where chefs will prepare dishes using classic doenjang and gochujang.
