[CBC News] Haman County in South Gyeongsang Province reported that a traffic crash near the Changwon 1 Tunnel on the Namhae Expressway, headed toward Busan, had snarled traffic as of 2:28 p.m. on the 16th.
Haman County sent safety-alert texts urging drivers using that stretch to exercise extra caution. Motorists bound for Busan are facing backups near the crash site, and officials are warning drivers to slow down.
Officials advised drivers passing the scene to reduce speed, maintain ample following distance and stay alert to avoid secondary collisions.
