The ES9 measures 17 ft 7 in (5,365 mm) long with a 10 ft 8 in (3,250 mm) wheelbase, placing it among the largest electric SUVs on the market.
NIO has equipped the vehicle with LiDAR sensors across the body. Combined with roof- and fender-mounted sensors, cameras and radar, the package forms a comprehensive autonomous-driving sensor suite.
Driving the system is NIO’s in-house silicon and software built on its World Model (NWM), which the company says provides advanced driver-assistance capabilities.

The interior is designed as a luxury lounge.
The cabin uses a 2+2+2 six-seat arrangement, with the second row fitted with zero-gravity seats.
Those seats recline and include massage, ventilation and heating functions, delivering comfort on par with high-end executive vehicles.
The package also features a 15.6-inch AMOLED display, a large dedicated rear-seat screen and even a refrigerator to enhance the premium experience.
900V platform and dual motors…
Performance and efficiency

The ES9 rides on a 900V high-voltage platform.
It uses a dual-motor setup rated at 180 kW front and 340 kW rear, delivering robust performance.
The pack is a 102 kWh battery, which NIO rates for up to 620 km (about 385 miles) under the CLTC cycle.
The vehicle also incorporates SkyRide active suspension and steer-by-wire technology to improve both driving stability and ride comfort.
Industry observers say the ES9 could raise the technological stakes in the large electric-SUV segment.
If NIO brings the ES9 to South Korea, it could become a strong rival to the Genesis GV90 that Genesis is preparing.
