Iron Motors, the official dealer for Volvo Cars (CEO Min-gyu Kim), said it has named Lotte Giants players Kim Won-jung and Yoon Dong-hee as official brand ambassadors.
Yoon Dong-hee has served as an Iron Motors ambassador since last year and is expected to be a core contributor to the Giants’ lineup this season. Joining the program now, Kim Won-jung is one of the team’s top pitchers, holds the club record for career saves, and is widely regarded as a franchise player.
As official ambassadors for Iron Motors and Volvo, the two players will drive Volvo’s flagship SUV, the XC90 B6, and represent the brands at public appearances and events.
Min-gyu Kim, CEO of Iron Motors, said both players are admired not only for their talent but also for their commitment and professionalism. He added that Kim Won-jung, who has recently come to appreciate the importance of vehicle safety, can help convey Volvo’s core value of safety to fans through his use of Volvo vehicles.
Kim Won-jung said the experience has reinforced the importance of safety for athletes, and he is pleased to share Volvo’s safety features and convenience with his fans after experiencing them firsthand.
Yoon Dong-hee said he was highly satisfied with the XC90’s comfort while driving it last year. He expressed gratitude for continuing the partnership with Iron Motors and pledged to repay that support with strong on-field performance this season.
Iron Motors, together with Kim Won-jung and Yoon Dong-hee, plans a range of activities to broaden the brand’s reach and connect directly with customers and fans.
