Chabot Motors said on March 19 it has begun taking pre-orders after unveiling domestic pricing and a service network plan for the authentic American premium pickup, the Ram 1500.
Chabot Motors will offer two versions of the Ram 1500 in the Korean market: the luxury-focused Limited trim and the RHO model, which is engineered for strong off-road capability.
Prices including VAT are set at KRW 149,000,000 (approximately $111,750) for the Limited and KRW 154,000,000 (approximately $115,500) for the RHO. Because the Ram 1500 meets Korea’s commercial vehicle classification, individual and corporate buyers may be eligible for a VAT refund.
Pre-orders can be placed through the official website and a dedicated Ram call center. The pre-order deposit is KRW 5,000,000 (approximately $3,750), and Chabot Motors guarantees a full, penalty-free refund if customers choose to cancel, reducing the financial risk of committing to a purchase.
To ensure a successful market launch and build customer confidence, Chabot Motors is accelerating its infrastructure rollout. The company plans to open a pop-up showroom in Songpa‑gu, Seoul, next month so consumers can experience the Ram brand firsthand.
Recognizing that after-sales service is a primary concern for buyers of imported pickups, Chabot Motors is taking proactive steps. Official service centers will open at six key locations—Seoul, Ilsan, Bundang, Yongin, Daegu and Busan—in time for vehicle deliveries, with plans to expand the nationwide service network thereafter.
“The Ram 1500 delivers unparalleled performance and premium value,” Chabot Motors CEO Jeong Jin‑gu said. “With a robust service network and a transparent pre‑order process, we aim to introduce Korean customers to a new level of pickup lifestyle.”
