Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on January 10th that it will offer free nationwide vehicle inspections to promote safe travel during the Lunar New Year holiday.

The company has arranged pre-trip maintenance services to prevent traffic accidents, considering the increase in long-distance travel during the holiday period. Free inspections will be available for auto insurance policyholders at over 450 Anycar Land locations across the country.

The inspection will cover more than 20 critical components that could potentially cause accidents during extended drives, including tire pressure and brake wear. This proactive approach aims to identify vehicle issues early through basic safety checks, thereby reducing accident risks on highways and during holiday travel.

Samsung Fire & Marine also highlighted auto insurance add-ons available for the holiday season. Customers can opt for a temporary driver endorsement, allowing anyone to drive the insured vehicle for a specified period. For those driving someone else’s car or a rental, the One-Day Anycar Auto Insurance offers short-term coverage ranging from 6 hours to 10 days. This flexible policy takes effect immediately upon purchase and can be arranged in advance.
