KG Mobility has announced plans to offer free vehicle inspections ahead of the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday to ensure customers’ safe travels.
The service will be available from February 11 to 13 at 321 service centers nationwide, including the Gunpo Metropolitan Service Center. It covers all KG Mobility models, except for large commercial vehicles.

Technicians will focus on critical components for long-distance driving, including battery condition, engine oil levels, fluid leaks, coolant, lighting systems, and climate control functionality.
They’ll also inspect brake pads, tire tread and pressure, coolant levels, heater operation, and filters. Complimentary windshield washer fluid refills will be provided to customers completing the inspection.
Electric vehicle owners can take advantage of a specialized safety check. This service includes standard inspections plus thorough examinations of the battery, cabin coolant, and drive motor coolant systems.
To address unexpected breakdowns or accidents during the holiday, KG Mobility will maintain round-the-clock emergency response services. The company has established a network to provide swift assistance from the nearest service center.
A KG Mobility spokesperson emphasized the importance of winter driving precautions, including reduced speeds and increased following distances. They also stressed the need for extra vigilance in vehicle maintenance due to cold weather and potential snow.
“We encourage drivers to have their vehicles inspected before their holiday travels,” the spokesperson added. “Our technicians can identify potential issues related to temperature fluctuations or icy conditions, ensuring a safer journey home.”
KG Mobility regularly offers seasonal vehicle checks, including summer and winter inspections. The company also conducts special service campaigns, such as flood damage assessments and EV safety inspections.
Looking ahead, the automaker plans to expand its range of vehicle inspection services to enhance customer safety and satisfaction.

Last month, KG Mobility launched “Auto Yoram,” a new parts brand designed to meet aftermarket demand. This initiative complements the company’s OEM parts offerings and underscores its commitment to providing trusted, competitive products that enhance the overall service experience.
