
BYD Korea has announced a free inspection campaign for the Lunar New Year, aimed at ensuring safe and comfortable travel for BYD vehicle owners during the holiday season. The announcement was made on February 10th.
Following the success of last year’s Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) campaign, BYD Korea has organized this second holiday inspection initiative. The move underscores the company’s commitment to a customer-centric service philosophy that prioritizes safety. This comprehensive free inspection service will cover all aspects of vehicle preparation, from pre-trip checks for long-distance travel to post-trip vehicle condition assessments.
The campaign will run for a total of eight days at 17 BYD Auto Service Centers across the country. It will be available for three days before the holiday (February 11-13) and five days after (February 19-20, February 23-25).
During the campaign period, BYD Korea will provide a thorough, no-cost inspection service. This includes checking critical components for long-distance travel such as the drive battery condition, vehicle undercarriage, brake system, and identifying any necessary replacements of consumable parts. The inspection process takes approximately 30 minutes. As an added benefit, customers will receive a complimentary interior deodorizing service to ensure a pleasant driving environment.
To further enhance the service experience during the Lunar New Year holiday, BYD Korea will also present a small gift to all customers who visit the service centers during the campaign period.
A spokesperson for BYD Korea stated, “We’ve initiated this campaign to provide our customers with peace of mind during their holiday travels through our complimentary inspection services.”
