Happening at JJ Mahony’s inside the Grand Hyatt Seoul
Limited-edition whisky ‘Ardbeg Dolce’ will also debut
Ardbeg announced on the 28th that Ardbeg Day 2026 will be held on June 6 at JJ Mahony’s in the Grand Hyatt Seoul.
Ardbeg Day takes place each year on the final Saturday of Islay’s music and malt festival, Fèis Ìle, drawing Ardbeg Committee members and whisky fans from around the world. This year’s theme is La Dolce Islay.
Guests will kick off with a tasting of the 2026 limited-edition Ardbeg Dolce, followed by two core Ardbeg expressions, two signature Ardbeg cocktails and a selection of finger foods. The event will also feature interactive stations, on-site activations and exclusive limited-edition merchandise drops.
Ardbeg says Ardbeg Dolce was finished in Sicilian Marsala Dolce casks to marry fruity aromas, dark chocolate notes and the distillery’s signature smokiness.
The whisky will be previewed for Ardbeg Committee members on the DailyShot smart-order liquor app on the 29th. On the day of the event, sales will be handled via time-slot pickup orders, limited to 30 bottles per time slot.
This year’s dress code is Sicilian resort style—think linen suits, bold exotic prints, silk scarves and sunglasses for a Mediterranean vibe.
Tickets go on sale on the 30th. The event runs in three sessions—1:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.—with each session lasting about two hours. Check the Ardbeg Committee channel for full details.
Ardbeg also operates its official partner bar program, Ardbeg Embassy. Participating venues include seven Seoul locations—Catalyst Yeonnam, Tienproof, Danbar, Center Bar, Bar Dusk, Don’t Tell Mama Seoul and Swallow—plus Aila Valley in Gyeonggi Province and GWC1989 in Busan.
Those venues will run a two-week promotion from the 17th through the 30th of next month. During the promotion, visitors can try a cocktail inspired by Ardbeg Dolce, and each cocktail order comes with a complimentary neat pour of Ardbeg Dolce.
