Seocho District in Seoul is calling on sweet makers to join a K‑dessert festival at Banpo Hangang Park.
On May 11, Seocho opened applications for 15 vendor teams to run dessert booths at “Seocho Sweet Night: 2026 K‑Dessert Festival in the Han River,” set for June 27–28 at Dalbit Square in Banpo Hangang Park.
Designed with international visitors in mind, the festival taps into growing global interest in Korean desserts and cafe culture. It will be a nighttime celebration where locals and tourists can savor treats against the glittering Han River skyline and the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain.

Open to makers of finished dessert products — apply by the 22nd
The festival is looking for vendors selling finished dessert items that appeal to both domestic and international visitors. Each vendor may apply with only one product, and sellers who merely repack imported goods for resale are not eligible.
Applications are accepted from May 11 until 6 p.m. on May 22. Interested vendors should download the application form from the Seocho District Office website, complete it, and submit it by email. Applicants will be notified individually of the selection results by May 27.
If applications exceed the available slots, organizers will evaluate factors such as dessert variety, price point, and menu overlap to determine the final lineup. Booth sizes may be adjusted based on evaluation results.
The festival will run each day from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. On site, visitors can explore a dessert zone, K‑playground, K‑culture zone, and a Sweet Zone. Event times and programs may change depending on weather and other conditions.
