Apply by the 8th — Selection by document screening and interview
Yeonsu District in Incheon is accepting applications through the 8th for 28 consumer food safety inspectors.
Consumer food safety inspectors are community-based monitors who evaluate hygiene at restaurants and other food-service businesses and coach staff on sanitary handling standards. Appointments run for two years.
Applicants must be residents of Yeonsu District aged 65 or younger. Ideal candidates include those recommended by consumer-group leaders, people with food-safety knowledge, holders of food-hygiene certifications, graduates of related programs, and those with at least one year of experience in food-hygiene administration.
Selection will be done through document screening followed by interviews. Appointed inspectors will check hygiene practices at food-service establishments, verify whether expired products are being sold, and guide businesses on meeting sanitary handling standards.
To apply, follow the announcement on the Yeonsu District Office website and submit your application by email or in person. For other inquiries, contact the Yeonsu District Office Public Health Division.
