
[The Public=Reporter Yang Won-mo] Seoul’s Shilla Hotel announced on the 27th that, ahead of May’s Family Month, its in-house bakery brand Pastry Boutique will offer a selection of limited-edition desserts.
This season’s gift-ready lineup features five visually distinct items designed for gifting: Blooming Love, Secret Rose Garden, Barrel Together, Petite Savoie Gift, and Mango Delight Roll.
Blooming Love, the collection’s showstopper, is topped with fresh carnations and available only through May 15. It pairs a light blueberry chiffon sponge with blueberry jam and pillowy fresh cream.
Secret Rose Garden channels a rose-filled garden with white‑chocolate petals. A milk‑chocolate sponge is layered with white‑chocolate cream and subtly infused with Earl Grey.
Barrel Together is crafted in a heart shape on a Sachertorte chocolate sponge, blending raspberry ganache and raspberry mousse. The cake is engineered to reveal a hidden heart when sliced.
The menu also includes Petite Savoie Gift, a modern take on a traditional baked confection from France’s Savoie region, and Mango Delight Roll, a crème anglaise roll cake filled with sweet apple mango.
