[RealFood=Reporter Yeon-su Park] CheongKwanJang announced on the 17th that it has reselected actress Kim Sung-ryung as the face of its menopausal women’s health brand, ‘Hwa-Aerak,’ and has kicked off a Family Month campaign.
Kim first became Hwa-Aerak’s model in 2013 and, through 2022, actively represented the brand while engaging with consumers across various activities.
The new TV spot, debuting today, follows Kim as a mentor guiding women through menopause. It spotlights red ginseng’s functional benefits as a key to lasting beauty and menopausal wellness.
To mark Family Month, Hwa-Aerak is running a special promotion through the 16th of next month. Shoppers who buy ‘Hwa-Aerak Jin Total Solution,’ ‘Hwa-Aerak Bon Circulation Focus,’ or ‘Hwa-Aerak Hu Vitality Focus’ will receive a 10% discount plus three sample sachets.
During the same period, popular lines ‘Everytime,’ ‘Hwa-Aerak,’ and ‘Gidarim’ are also holding Family Month promotions. Offers include discounts on flagship products, an ‘Everytime’ repurchase coupon, and a complimentary ‘Gidarim’ agarwood pill when customers bring in an empty bottle of another brand’s agarwood pill.
New CheongKwanJang members who sign up via the in-store QR code will get three ‘Everytime’ sachets and one bottle of Gidarim agarwood extract.
A CheongKwanJang spokesperson said Kim Sung-ryung embodies healthy menopause management with Hwa-Aerak. “Her genuine story helps deepen trust in the brand,” the spokesperson added, noting the company will offer broader benefits and promote health values throughout Family Month.
