[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] The Baeksajang 3 team is on the verge of hitting its annual sales target of 1 billion KRW (₩1,000,000,000, approximately $750,000).
In the March 31 finale of tvN’s Baeksajang 3, the cameras followed the crew through their seventh day of business.
They were just €2,000 (about ₩2,853,333, roughly $2,140) short of their goal. John Park asked, \”Shall we call it a day today and take tomorrow off?\” and Baek Jong-won shot back with confidence, \”We can handle it easily.\”
The restaurant was buzzing nonstop. Even before 20 minutes had passed after the place filled up, a line had already formed. John Park checked in, \”There are 16 people waiting—should we stop taking more?\” Baek Jong-won replied, \”No. Keep them coming. We’ve got to finish strong.\”
To keep people in line happy, Baek Jong-won came up with a clever move: he portioned the popular side dish, spicy squid salad, into paper cups and handed them out to waiting customers, warning, \”It’s spicy, it’s spicy!\”
The crowd was a mix — from mukbang creators filming on the spot to groups out for a company dinner.
