[Sports Seoul | Reporter Cho Sunwoo] Kyochon F&B’s agricultural arm, Fermentation Workshop 1991, is opening a pop-up for Eunhasu Makgeolli to broaden its customer reach.
The pop-up runs seven days, from the 27th of this month through the 2nd of next month, in the food hall on B1 at Shinsegae Department Store’s Daegu location.
Visitors can try three varieties brewed using a century-old method: Eunhasu (6% ABV), Eunhasu (8% ABV), and Eunhasu Byeolheneunbam (12% ABV). The event will include exclusive on-site tastings and special purchase promotions available only at the pop-up.
Eunhasu Byeolheneunbam 12% took the top prize in the high-alcohol takju category at the 2025 Korea Our Liquor Competition and was chosen as the official banquet drink for the Gyeongju APEC summit.
A Kyochon F&B spokesperson said, “We created a solo pop-up for Fermentation Workshop 1991 to highlight makgeolli’s charms in fresh, engaging ways.
