A startup is making waves in the food care market with its innovative meal solutions tailored to individual health needs.
Roadbig, a fresh face in the startup scene, has been turning heads after being selected for Keimyung University’s Startup Support Center’s preliminary entrepreneurship package. Their food care brand, ‘The Sikdam,’ is shaking up the healthy eating game.
With a catchy slogan like “A big and meaningful journey toward better health,” Roadbig isn’t just about dishing out meals. They’re on a mission to revolutionize our relationship with food, offering a service that’s all about nurturing overall health through smart eating. ‘The Sikdam,’ which loosely translates to “a space for better food,” is all about making healthy meal prep a breeze for everyone.
Let’s face it – with our aging population and chronic diseases on the rise, personalized diet management is more crucial than ever. But let’s be real, sticking to a healthy eating plan day in and day out? Not exactly a walk in the park. That’s where The Sikdam comes in, serving up customized meal kit services that take your health status and eating habits into account.

The Sikdam’s meal kits are a game-changer, especially for those managing diabetes or high blood pressure. Think low-sodium and low-sugar diets that don’t skimp on flavor, thanks to fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The best part? You get pre-prepped ingredients and easy-to-follow recipes, so whipping up a healthy meal is a cinch. It’s not just about the food – it’s about making the whole process of checking and preparing ingredients a fun part of your daily health routine.

With a little help from Keimyung University’s Startup Support Center, The Sikdam has been busy cooking up prototypes and putting them to the test in the market. They’re constantly tweaking their menu based on what the people want. Right now, they’re serving up some seriously delicious (and healthy!) options like ‘Yeoju Damsim’ (picture rolls of tofu with a twist) and ‘Mushroom Damsim’ (a hearty porridge packed with king oyster mushrooms and perilla seeds). Yum!

But don’t just take our word for it – these products have been put through their paces. We’re talking taste tests and demos with about 50 seniors at day care centers. The verdict? Two thumbs way up! Users are loving that they can chow down without guilt, knowing they’re doing something good for their bodies.

The folks at Roadbig get it – staying healthy is important, but it’s not always easy. That’s why The Sikdam is all about making healthy eating a no-brainer. Looking ahead, they’re planning to roll out even more convenience foods that are big on nutrition and flavor, but low on prep time. It’s all about fitting into your lifestyle, whatever that may be.

Roadbig isn’t just another food company – they’re on a mission to change the way we think about eating. With their personalized meal services and healthy convenience foods, they’re not just selling food – they’re selling a whole new approach to healthy living.
