[MyDaily = Reporter Chun Ju-young] Personal eyewear brand Breezm has unveiled Urban Shade, a crossover eyewear line designed to work seamlessly from everyday life to outdoor adventures.
The new collection blends Breezm’s signature 3D custom design and printing technology into a daily outdoor-sports lineup. It debuts in two models: the square FORTE, which uses clean, straight frame lines to create a dynamic, modern look, and the oval BRIO, whose gentle curves are optimized for active pursuits like running and cycling.
Urban Shade maintains a classic front profile but introduces a three-dimensional structure that wraps around the head toward the sides. The frame’s ends extend naturally along the temples to block UV rays, wind, and dust during outdoor activities. The temple tips also include holes for attaching a sports strap, adding practical versatility.
The most notable advantage tackles two common drawbacks of traditional sports sunglasses at once: limited compatibility with prescription lenses and a design that often feels out of place for daily wear. To minimize visual distortion and dizziness, Breezm employs flat lenses that are easier to process for prescriptions, while the sculpted, three-dimensional frame preserves the sporty silhouette and sun-blocking performance. Using users’ 3D facial scan data, Breezm fine-tunes the balance of the nose pads and temple fit to ensure stable wear even during vigorous movement.
A company representative said Urban Shade combines the functionality of sports sunglasses with personalized technology to erase the boundary between everyday wear and outdoor activity.
