[SPOTV News = Reporter Heo Na-won] Actress Park Jung-soo’s granddaughter has been turning heads with looks you’d expect from a K-pop idol.
On the 13th, Park uploaded a video to her personal YouTube channel titled “Granddaughters Who Trusted Grandma’s Card and Went on a Shopping Spree.” The clip features Park’s eldest daughter and two granddaughters, and the oldest granddaughter, in particular, drew attention for her celebrity-level beauty.
Park explained, “We usually meet like this. I buy food and leave it at my daughter’s house. My grandkids love strawberries, so whenever I see fruit I think of them right away,” showing her obvious affection for them.
When the production team asked the granddaughters, “Doesn’t Grandma get mad often?” the eldest quipped, “She always gets mad when Grandpa calls,” which had everyone laughing.
The eldest then pouted, teasing Park—who only gives allowance to the youngest—”What about me?” Park replied, “I stopped because she’s an adult.”
Park also noted that food expenses add up, marveling that her eldest grandchild has been a foodie since childhood and even enjoyed grown-up flavors like black garlic and pork skin.
The eldest surprised everyone by saying, “I’m working part-time so I can go to an omakase sushi place,” and revealed she’s working in parcel delivery and logistics.
She explained her reason for working: “After a long day I have to put on a lot of pain-relief patches. Still, I like it because I can work a lot in a day and get paid quickly.”
Later, Park and her granddaughters went out to decorate pens—”bolkku”—and shopped at Dongdaemun Market. She showed her doting-grandma side by happily indulging their tastes.
Park married a businessman in 1975 and had two children; they later divorced by mutual agreement. Since 2009, she has been in a common-law relationship with producer-director Jeong Eul-young, who is the father of actor Jung Kyung-ho and a drama director.
