[Sports Seoul | Reporter Wi Su-jeong] No Seul-bi, a shaman who drew attention for her appearance on Disney+’s ‘Fate War 49,’ says she’s been struggling with a flood of malicious comments.
On the 28th, No wrote on her social media that she was deeply moved when her daughter told her, \”Mom, you work so hard.\” She revealed, though, that her nine-year-old had actually been fighting the hateful comments on No’s videos. No said the child, who is still learning Hangul, types replies with her small fingers to try to protect her mother. \”Please, if you dislike me, stop leaving abusive comments,\” No pleaded. \”My daughter sees them.\” She added, \”I’ve never been afraid of being insulted, but I’m terrified of my daughter’s heart breaking.\”
No previously appeared on MBN’s ‘High School Mommy 3,’ where she opened up about being a victim of school and domestic violence and about giving birth at 19 after an unwanted pregnancy. She said a man gaslighted her into moving in with him and later subjected her to violence, infidelity, and threats. After their divorce, he even demanded that she file a death report for their daughter — a revelation that shocked viewers. No now raises her daughter alone and continues her work as a shaman.
In 2023, she appeared on JTBC’s ‘Divorce Reflection Camp’ to discuss the struggles of married life. Recently, she’s been noted on ‘Fate War 49’ as an MZ shaman and has shared updates about living as a single mom. wsj0114@sportsseoul.com
